SK Telecom has selected Samsung Electronics, LG-Ericsson and Nokia Siemens Networks as key equipment suppliers for its 4G LTE network.

South Korean wireless service provider LG U+ has selected Nokia Siemens Networks to rollout it's LTE commercial service network.

Huawei has signed agreements with Canada's service providers TELUS and Bell Mobility to provide LTE RAN equipments. Bell Mobility will use RAN equipments to continue expansion of the recently launched Bell LTE wireless network across Canada.

South Korea's SK Telecom and Japan's Softbank have launched LTE roaming service in Japan and South Korea. LTE subscribers of SK Telecom and Softbank will be able to roam in Japan and Korea on the operators' LTE networks.

Portuguese mobile operator Optimus has selected Huawei to provide UMTS/LTE multi-frequency antennas for its LTE commercial network, the company announced today. The commercialization of Huawei's antennas in Portugal extends the current mobile network portfolio.

Qualcomm has introduced a family of 28 nanometer (nm) solutions, the Qualcomm FSM99xx, to enable pico, metro and enterprise small cells that are designed to enhance operators’ 3G and LTE networks. The Qualcomm FSM99xx solutions are expected to sample in the second half of 2013.
