Telefonica O2 is testing LTE in the region of Banska Bystrica, Slovakia. The exercise will run until 31 August 2010. O2 is using 2.66 GHz frequency spectrum for tests. 

During tests FTP average  download speed of 75Mbit/s & UDP average  download spped of 90Mbit/s was measured. An average ping of 24ms also reported. Test setup included two base stations with core located in Prague.

According to company statement supplier company includes Nokia Siemens Networks and terminals from LG and Samsung were used. Measuring software was provided by XCALL.
