Huawei has showcased 4-Carrier Aggregation (CA) solution for LTE TDD at the 2013 Mobile World Congress. According to company, solution utilizes 4×4 MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) technologies to provide 1 Gb/s data speeds with a single RRU.

Movistar Chile has selected Nokia Siemens Networks to implement its LTE network in 2.6 GHz frequency band. According to company, the contract covers the capital area, Greater Santiago, with close to six million inhabitants, as well as other cities such as Valparaíso and Viña del Mar.
