UK’s communications company, EE has launched commercial LTE services in 11 cities. EE runs the Orange and T-Mobile brands in the UK. In its first phase, the 4G service is going live in Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Sheffield and Southampton.
Alcatel-Lucent has announced that company will provide Telesis Tanzania with its comprehensive 4G LTE mobile broadband solution. Established in 2011, Telesis operates as a Mobile Virtual Network Aggregator (MVNA), supporting services for a number of Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO) which serve their customers using Telesis’ infrastructure.
U.S. broadband service provider, Clearwire has revised its LTE deployment plan. Company now plans to have 2,000 LTE sites on air by the end of June 2013 and expects to start receiving Sprint prepayment installments in June 2013.

Verizon Wireless has announced introduction of LTE network in 23 new markets and expansion in 41 existing markets. With this addition, operator's LTE network is now available in more than 410 markets across the United States, surpassing its previously announced goal of providing its mobile broadband service in 400 markets by the end of this year.
Indian operator Bharti Airtel has launched 4G LTE services in Pune. This is third city in the country after Kolkata and Bengaluru to get LTE coverage from Airtel.
