Slovenia's mobile operator, Si.mobil has announced launch of its commercial LTE services. Si.mobil is a part of international telecommunication group Telekom Austria. Operator is currently offering LTE services in Ljubljana, Brnik, and Bled. 

Russia Awards LTE Spectrum Licenses to Four Operators

Russia has awarded 4G frequencies to four telecom operators, Reuters reported today. The four operators are VimpelCom, Mobile TeleSystems (MTS), Rostelecom and MegaFon. Other bidders that participated in the spectrum auction, included TTK, Summa Telecom and Tele2 Russia.
