ZTE has announced that it completed the download test using carrier aggregation (CA) technology in a commercial environment in collaboration with Guangdong arm of China Mobile. The test took place in an outdoor TD-LTE network environment.

UK's telecom operator, EE has made 4G LTE services available in nine new towns across the UK, bringing the total number of towns and cities covered by LTE to 27. SaskTel Launches Commercial 4G LTE Network in Regina and Saskatoon

SK Telecom has successfully demonstrated a core LTE-Advanced technology named Transmission Mode 9 (TM-9) under partnership with Ericsson, operator announced today. TM-9 defines the way of transmission between mobile devices and base stations. It has been chosen as a new LTE-A specification by 3GPP in June 2011.
