TeliaSonera was the first operator in the world with the launch of commercial 4G LTE services to customers in Stockholm, Sweden, and in Oslo, Norway, in 2009.

Telstra's planned LTE trial is expected to begin in May and will run for three to six months. It will be located in Victoria.

Colombian operator UNE EPM Telecomunicaciones launched LTE services in December, 2011. Telco has awarded contract for phase one and two LTE 4G network to Huawei and Ericsson.
